2022 YoungArts Award Competition Open Now Through October 15th, 2021

YoungArts identifies the most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary, and performing arts and provides them with creative and professional development opportunities and support throughout their careers.

To advance this mission,
YoungArts is accepting applications for its 2022 YoungArts Award Competition. Accomplished artists between the ages of 15 and 18 (or in grades 10 through 12) are encouraged to apply for a financial award of up to $10,000 as well as opportunities to work with leading artists and will become eligible for exclusive creative and professional development support throughout their careers. Applications are adjudicated through a rigorous blind process by esteemed discipline-specific panels of artists. Students must demonstrate excellence in classical music, dance, design arts, film, jazz, photography, theater, visual arts, voice, or writing.

The YoungArts award competition is open to artists:

  • Between the ages of 15–18 or in high school grades 10–12 (as of December 1st, 2021)

  • That are United States citizens, permanent residents or legally able to receive taxable income in the U.S.

  • That demonstrate excellence in Classical Music, Dance, Design Arts, Film, Jazz, Photography, Theater, Visual Arts, Voice or Writing

Application Deadline: October 15th, 2021

Rapunzl Scholarship:

This upcoming Fall, Rapunzl is hosting a $10,000 national scholarship competition for high school students.
